HistoryTurbine Control Service Associates was founded in 1993 by a small group of seasoned turbine control and generator excitation specialists. The primarily service based company expanded by developing of a line of enhancement products for aging Westinghouse generator and turbine control systems.
In 1999, TCSA entered into the generator control and excitation system retrofit business with the introduction of the Digital Generator Controller. In 2007, with a track record of over 60 successful installations of DGC based excitation systems, TCSA is now firmly established as one of the leading manufacturers of digital excitation systems in the United States.
TCSA continues its legacy of responsive customer service and support with an ever expanding line of innovative products for a broad range of aging generator and turbine control applications.
TCSA is a privately held with corporation with headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and a satellite office in San Luis Obispo, California.
